Hi there - yes it is like Granola! It is actually not available here anymore anyway! ANY type of feta would work nicely - the persian feta is very soft that is all. The marinade is oil and lemon and garlic and maybe some herbs but you can use any marinade that works well with feta. Good luck! Phoodie

Hello!

What is Kellogg's Breakfast Toppers? I haven't come across them in the UK. Are they similar to granola?

Not seen Persian Feta cheese, either; I thought it has to be Greek to be called feta, or perhaps that's only in the EU. Is it very different from other types of Meditteranean/Middle Eastern white cheeses, such as beyaz peynir or brynza? The brand you used seems to be marinated. What is in the marinade?

I'd love to try this salad but I don't want to substitute ingredients willy-nilly.

Thanks.

Hey Amy :) I think the balance of flavours is perfect but everyone's palate is different. It might be a good idea to try it and then add as much or as little as you wish! In this salad I prefer the Persian Feta (taste and texture) to just a standard one - but if you didn't have any PF handy, then standard would certainly do! :) Phoodie

Looks amazing Phoodie! Question though - I'm a bit skeptical about the sweetness of the dukkah. I take it it's not too sweet? Also, that brand of Persian Fetta is unsurpassed. I often use the remained oil as salad dressing because I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH of the stuff. I suspect a plain feta would alter the flavours quite a bit?
