Frat P is like an old and faithful friend of mine. I have NEVER gone here and been disappointed. I have NEVER gone here and come home feeling HUNGRY or LET DOWN or NOT SATISFIED. In fact I have NEVER  gone here and NOT BEEN BLOWN AWAY.

SO SIMPLE.

YET SOOOOOOOOOO SPECTACULAR.

I don’t really have much to say.

Please excuse me as it is 1 million pm and although I realllllllly should be in bed, I CAN’T GO TO BED. I AM WAITING FOR THE WOOLWORTHS ONLINE DELIVERY VAN TO SHOW UP. (Should note, it’s my fault not theirs that I selected this late late, cheap delivery slot) Anway, what I was TRYING to say was that I don’t want to make this post too complicated or too crazy, (as many of my posts totally are) because COMPLICATED is EXACTLY what FP is NOTTT!!!!!

RATHER, FP delivers (time and time again) AMAZING plates of food made from the freshest of fresh ingredients that have been thrown together harmoniously and cooked to perfection.

Honestly.

That’s seriously it.

Service is ALWAYS brilliant. Again, uncomplicated and professional.

Friendly too.

We started with deliciously fresh bread dipped in rich, fruity, extra v olive oil. I go one step further and sprinkle the rocks on top! WHY NOT!?

Moved on to some starters to share; Caprese Salad and Calamari A-MAY-ZING.

ARGHHHH BLURRY CALAMARI – BUT WHAT CAN I DO!?

For mains, Rigatone with Duck Ragout and Grilled Snapper with Asparagus. TOO DIVINE for words. Both dishes. Scampi also looked BEYOND but they had run out.

Too full for dessert, but the table next to us ordered the Apricot Tart. I wept like a wee child when I saw it. BEAUTY on a plate. SIMPLICTY central. Shame they started jumping into it before I got my snap snap out!!!!! Oh. And before you think I am CRAZED and tres rude for taking pics of OTHER diners’ food, coincidentally they were my good mates from kid-hood and before, P and A and another friend R, from Londres. Love youse all.

NEVER too full for an Affogato though! Hold the booze please!
