PHRIDAY (SUNDAY) PHEAST #8 – Mr Perkins and Co. 1

July 3, 2011

This Friday I have a REAL treat for you! (Note: Today is actually not Friday, but rather Sunday, but for the sake of this post, let’s call it Friday!)

Not only do you get to look at photos of SERIOUSLY delicious food, but you also get to learn how you too can make it over and over and over again – no shopping and running around tirelessly for ingredients required!

Welcome to Mr Perkins and Co.

Brainchild of 2011 MasterChef Australia contestant Tom Rutledge, Mr Perkins and Co. provide you with top quality ingredients for an array of fabulously tasty meals, all measured out and ready to go! These boxes of goodies are delivered to your front door with EASY to follow recipe cards filled with tips and instructions on how to cook the food!

“What a great idea!” I hear you say?! Too damn right!

Actually, it’s not a great idea, it’s a brilliant one.

Sometimes you don’t want to (or have time to) run around to 6 different stores to gather the best meat, vege, sauce, condiments etc required to cook a certain dish.

Hello Mr P.

Sometimes you don’t want to have to puchase $1 million dollars worth of quince paste that really, you know after you use today, you won’t use for another 22 years.

Hello Mr P.

Sometimes you want to eat something that is guaranteed to taste FABULOUS, but you don’t have a recipe that you can trust.

Hello Mr P.

Sometimes you want a no-fuss, no shop, quick, tasty meal, but you don’t have time to plan out every step of it and you DON’T WANT TAKE-AWAY!

Just the click of a button away, by jumping onto the Mr Perkins and Co. site you can browse a selection of simply divine sweet and savoury options and order as many or as few meals as you like! With different recipes popping up all the time, you’ll never get bored either!

My first experience with Mr P and Co, was last week. I ordered the Pork with Panfried Apples and Prunes.

I cried at how beautifully the box looked when it arrived. I wept at how stunning and top notch each and every ingredient was. I bawled at the simplicity in the cooking process and I collapsed with joy as I ate it! Oh, and I giggled as I read my fortune after devouring the cookies that were neatly tucked away in the bottom of the box!

In all seriousness, this is one experience that I can highly recommend to each of my readers for all of the reasons stated above.

Another thing that I think is a SUPER haym idea is purchsaing a box as a gift for a mate. Enter their home address and the package will go straight to them. What an awesome pressie!

Below are some snaps taken from my 1st (and DEFINITELY not last) Mr Perkins and Co. experience!

ENJOY!
