PIZZA LOVERS UNITE! The Breville Crispy Crust ™; Review + GIVEAWAY! 6

Last week, Breville held a pizza masterclass with hugely popular ‘Celeb Chef’ Pete Evans. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to pop through, so my good mate Dani went along to check things out!

Pete demonstrated how to make DELICIOUS pizzas (vego ones, meat ones, seafood ones, even SWEET ones!) using the Breville Crispy Crust ™ and below you can see some snaps taken on the day by Dani.

The Breville Crispy Crust ™ is a WONDER MACHINE. It delivers perfectly crisp homemade pizza in as little as 5 minutes.

The Crispy Crust has dual heating elements (top and bottom) that evenly heat the thick 12” ceramic pizza stone to an awesomely high 350°C replicating the cooking environment of a brick oven.

Whether the preferred base is thin, classic or sink-your-teeth-in thick, the Crispy Crust automatically adjusts the temperature to produce crunchy crusts and perfectly cooked toppings time after time.

A viewing window also allows cooking to be monitored without opening the lid and losing heat.

Homemade pizza fans looking for inspiration will enjoy the bonus Pete Evans Pizza book, which includes recipes for classic or gluten-free dough, as well as fresh tomato sauce for the base and 15 delicious topping combinations. From classic Margherita to gourmet Gorgonzola, Fig and Pancetta and decadent Pear and Frangipane, there is a pizza to suit every palate!

And because left over pizza tastes even better, the ‘Keep Warm’ setting can quickly reheat slices.

Now, I wouldn’t give you all of this info, tempt you with the snaps below and not offer one LUCKY PHOODIE READER the chance to WIN a Breville Crispy Crust, would I?!

OF COURSE NOT!

I used to be able to eat a whole large pizza by myself during teenage years, but no longer… my good friend Damo has definitely taken that award. His wife Miriam and I often get together with our husbands and make pizzas in an ‘assembly line’, topping the bases and sticking them in the oven to feed the hungry hordes. Damo can eat… maybe ten slices? He cleans up all the leftovers without blinking. It’d be amazing to have the Crispy Crust as part of the line up… 5 minutes to cook is amazing!!! Thanks for the opportunity to enter this Phoodie. What a great competition, love the fact that Pete Evans has created some great recipes too :)
