These brownies were inspired by Momofuku Milk Bar’s FAMOUS Compost cookies!

I had friends over for lunch yesterday and was already whipping up a Spanakopita, Phoodie’s Greek Salad with a twist and Tzatziki, so, (like every other human in the UNIVERSE), being time poor, I knew dessert had to be a one minute wonder. I’d been eyeing off the Donna Hay Molten Chocolate  Chunk Brownies for a while now in my local supermarket and I’d also been wanting to make Compost cookies for yoooooooonks so, I thought to myself “why not add some Pretzels to the DH box and do a bit of a Phoodie interpretation” (that will take me 4 seconds to make!?)” So that’s what I did!

I mean SERIOUSLY, what beats salty and sweet?!

Salty, sweet with a MOLTEN CHOCOLATE CHUNK centre that’s what!

INGREDIENTS

1 x DH Molten Chocolate Chunk Brownie box (you need to add 2 eggs and 150grams butter to the box, chocolate chunks are included)

1 cup salted pretzels

METHOD

Make the brownies as per instructions, throwing in the cup of Pretzels when you add in the chocolate chunks.

Cut and serve!
